On Watercolor Painting ...

“Painting is about practice; it is about letting go, taking risks, facing fear and finding confidence. It is about losing yourself in the joyful sensual moment.

Color is my passion.  I love to “push” the color, exaggerating it so that it remains bold and dramatic once completed.

I aim to capture the spontaneity of watercolor painting, the accidents that happen when pigment and water collide. I want my paintings to come alive with clarity and freshness.”
